At the heart of every AGROHA Chapter is its Board of Directors, a team of dedicated and active members who take on the responsibility of guiding the chapter’s growth and development. The Board plays a pivotal role in shaping the chapter’s direction, framing by-laws, and ensuring that all activities align with AGROHA’s global vision and values.
Transparency, accountability, and commitment define the functioning of the Board. By working closely with members, the Board ensures that the chapter operates smoothly, delivers value to its members, and maintains credibility in the larger AGROHA ecosystem.
In most cases, the Board is formed by the founding members who establish the chapter. As the chapter grows, additional directors may be appointed or existing ones replaced, ensuring that leadership remains dynamic and responsive to the needs of the community. This structure allows each chapter to evolve sustainably while staying firmly connected to AGROHA’s larger mission of unity, collaboration, and prosperity.
Chapter Board Members are the strategic custodians of the chapter, responsible for shaping its direction, maintaining standards, and ensuring long-term growth. Their role is not just advisory, but deeply involved in governance, member success, and overall chapter performance.
Board Members are the core decision-makers, responsible for defining the Chapter’s vision, governance framework, and long-term growth strategy. They must ensure that all activities align with AGROHA’s philosophy, policies, and standards while working closely with the AGROHA Head Office (HO) and the Working Committee.
A key responsibility is to consistently track member satisfaction, ensuring that every member feels valued, heard, and benefited within the ecosystem.
Board Members should actively monitor and encourage:
• Business generation among members
• Collaborations and referrals within the network
Ensuring that the chapter delivers tangible value in terms of growth and opportunities.
Maintaining high standards in meetings and events is critical. Board Members should review and guide the structure, content, and execution to ensure every interaction is meaningful, engaging, and value-driven.
Board Members are expected to identify and onboard Patrons and Sponsors, strengthening the financial and strategic foundation of the chapter.
Keeping a sharp focus on the chapter’s goals, targets, and vision, ensuring consistent progress and performance across all parameters.
Board Members must personally connect every month with:
• Members who are inactive, or
• Members who are not getting sufficient business
This ensures timely intervention, better engagement, and improved member retention.
Each Chapter Board shall consist of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 members, ensuring balanced leadership, accountability, and effective decision-making.
AGROHA Chapters, meetings, and events are strengthened by the support of Sponsors and Chapter Patrons. These respected business leaders and well-wishers not only contribute financially towards chapter activities but also bring valuable experience, industry connections, guidance, influence, and growth opportunities that help members and chapters prosper together.
The Chapter Board of Directors shall remain in close coordination and continuous engagement with prospective Sponsors and Patrons to encourage their active participation in chapter meetings, events, and activities, creating long-term mutual value and benefits for the entire AGROHA ecosystem.
